Volunteering at the Museum
We could not do everything we do without our wonderful volunteers! Volunteers help us by greeting visitors, maintaining exhibits, helping with programming, keeping the garden pretty, planning and working at shows and much more. If you are interested in helping, we always have a variety of opportunities. Please complete this FORM and then call the Museum at 303-322-1053 to set up a meeting time.
Current onsite volunteer needs (updated 10/14/22):
Front Desk: Welcome guests, answer questions, help guests in the guest shop, etc.
Short-term: education supply organizing, library set up, office organizing, cleaning, photography
Long-term: collections organizing, backlog review, collections committee, Grand Re-Opening event lead, Fall Show committee lead, data entry, marketing and advertising, photography and more!
Internships: Collections Management, Advertising. Must be semester or more commitment.
Join The Board
Go the extra mile and join the Board of Directors!
The Board is responsible for the oversight of DMMDT. We're always looking for members with accounting skills, law backgrounds, human resource experience, marketing and publicity, fundraising, exhibit building, doll/toy/dollhouse miniature expertise and more. If you would like more information on joining the board, please contact the Museum Director!
Volunteering from home
Several volunteer opportunities can be done virtually. We need help tallying surveys, posting information about the Museum on various websites and other things. Please complete this FORM and then call the Museum at 303-322-1053

Items people can do from home
Research on potential grants
Research potential event and museum sponsors
Find potential program partners for the Museum in your community, review object donation email offers (specifically looking for expertise in dolls, toys and/or minis)
Research collection items
Research and write exhibit labels/gallery collateral
Assist with marketing
Price comparison shopper (help us find the best deals on collections management material, education supplies, etc.),
and more!
Community Service Volunteer

Fall Show Volunteer
The Fall Show always needs volunteers. If you are interested in taking tickets, helping with kids programs, organizing events, joining the committee, or being a general helping hand, please let us know.
