Volunteer Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys. Please take this opportunity to tell us about yourself. We do work around deadlines and have busy and slow times throughout the year but we try to match up volunteers with projects that they will find most rewarding when possible. Please, always feel free to speak up and tell us if you are uncomfortable with a particular task or if there is something that you are especially interested in working on.
Scheduling
Please note our hours and contact information above. We can be flexible with your schedule but ask that you schedule volunteer time with us before you come to the museum and that you call or email if you are unable to be here for a scheduled shift. This is particularly important on weekends.
Lunches and breaks
While volunteering you are welcome to bring a lunch and store it in our refrigerator or take a break to get lunch. We ask that all trash from lunches, snacks or drinks is thrown away in the trash can in the first floor office because it is taken out most often. If you are watching the front desk, please let staff know if you plan to take a break so we can answer the door.
Clothing
Please feel free to wear comfortable shoes and clothing that are appropriate for a family setting. Many areas of the museum are dusty so wear clothes that are washable. We can provide an apron if you would like to cover your clothes
