Dark Victorian Tales: Members and Friends Saturday Matinee

A special afternoon performance just for museum members and invited guests!

(General Admission shows are sold out.)

Museum members and special friends are invited to join us in our “parlor” for an afternoon of haunting literary entertainment. Enjoy dramatic readings of spooky Victorian stories and dark poetry mixed with folk tales, vintage magic, and more.

Featuring works by artists both obscure and famous, including authors such as Mary Shelley, Emily Dickenson, and Edgar Alan Poe.

All guests at this special matinee performance will receive a bag of party favors and free admission to the museum; light refreshments will be provided at intermission, and there will be a chance to speak with the performers afterward.

The presenters are…

  • Liese Lemay, Master Seamstress

  • Sheri McCaskill, Master Herbalist

  • Neal Schlein, Jack of All Trades

Performance begins at 1:00pm. Period or other fancy attire is encouraged.

Please Note: This session is currently reserved for members and invited friends of the museum.

Cost: $10 for Members and Invited Guests
