Building a lightsaber is an important step in every Jedi’s training—so learn to do it with DMMDT!

In this fun workshop, participants will get to make and decorate miniature toy lightsabers. (Lights and batteries are not included in this design..)

Blades and hilts can be adjusted to various sizes, and can fit anything from a LEGO Mini Fig up to Barbie dolls. Bring your own doll or figure for proper sizing

Up to three lightsabers can be made by each registrant, as time allows: museum staff will lead one guided build, and then help participants create their own free-form designs.

Age: This project is ecommended for teens and adults; younger participants are welcome, but will require adult assistance with tearing, cutting, and layering tape. Sharp tools may be used.

All attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note: These lightsabers will not have lights included. We can provide guidance on how to do that, though!
